Ben Nevis Hiking Trip via Mountain Track from Fort William

Take on the highest mountain in the UK. Join us for an unforgettable summer hiking challenge as we summit Ben Nevis (1,345 m / 4,413 ft), one of Scotland’s most iconic peaks.

Time: Departure to for the Mountain Path at 4:00 AM

🏞️ About Ben Nevis

Located near the town of Fort William in the Scottish Highlands, Ben Nevis is a magnet for hikers and mountaineers. The trail offers breathtaking views, rugged beauty, and a true sense of accomplishment.

🥾 Hike Overview

  • Route: Mountain Track (also known as the Tourist Route)
  • Distance: ~17 km round trip
  • Elevation Gain: ~1,350 meters
  • Difficulty: Strenuous
  • Estimated Duration: 7–9 hours

🎒 What to Bring

  • Sturdy hiking boots
  • Weather-appropriate clothing (layers, waterproofs)
  • Plenty of water and snacks
  • Sun protection and personal first aid kit
  • Trekking poles (optional but helpful)

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Weather in the Highlands can change rapidly. Be prepared for rain, wind, or fog.
  • This hike is physically demanding — a good fitness level is required.
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Participants are encouraged to arrange carpooling. Let us know in advance if you can offer or need a lift.
